A family who took two of our dogs are looking to rehome. If interested I can put you in contact with the owner…..
Location: NE Tennessee. I have a 2 Anatolian Shepherds that I need rehome. Both females, 3yo & 4yo. These girls are incredible, but we have had to dwindle our livestock down due to personal health reasons. They need a job. UTD on shots. Both spayed and have had a gastropexy. There is a rehoming fee. They have been with barn cat, cows, chickens, ducks and turkeys. They have NOT been with any other livestock, or dogs. It has been over a year since they were with a flock, so I would imagine that they will need a slow introduction if you have birds. They will need introduction to other livestock as well, not just thrown in with them and expect them to bond. They do need a fenced in pasture. And to properly transition them to your land and to your livestock, you will need to have prior LGD experience.
They do not have food aggression. One does resource guard, however; no problems ever stemmed from this. No same s*x aggression. The younger one has always respected the older dog’s alpha status. They do well with my young granddaughter, do well with other people, if there is a proper introduction. They are comfortable with being indoors if need be. Great recall, and I’m sure they will with you once you establish a relationship with them. They are 100% outside dogs. Confirmed coyote disposal and ground predators that may attack the flock. Confirmed chasing a bear off the property as well. Please PM with any questions.
