Gordy and Lori,

Today our little Kodi turns 9!! It’s so hard to believe. People still ask me if she’s a puppy, but I guess all AKK owners get that question.

Kodi is still as healthy as ever. She enjoys running through deep grass, hiking and following my every move. She is quick to reprimand me if I’m taking too long to get her food ready or when the brushing/fur removal takes too long or when I return from errands.

I hope all is well with you two and the family. Are you still breeding quite a bit? People always want to know where Kodi came from, so I let them know Itzy Bitzy Huskies. They laugh, it’s a great name and easy to remember.

Here’s Kodi in her little harness. I attach a bungee leash around my waist and she literally pulls me up and down the trail when we go hiking - at a very rapid speed . Poor Ron has a hard time keeping up with her pace, and so do I. I’m constantly begging her to slow down, but that only seems to motivate her to go even faster. When we get home, she’s still ready for the next adventure.
