It’s that time of the year to start preparing for Spring chickens!!!!
It is also that time of the year where orders start rolling in here at the chicken coop workshop. For the last few years we have had a waiting list that piles up quickly. If you are thinking about a chicken coop or other animal enclosure for the spring I recommend getting on the list sooner than later. Looking forward to helping friends with the homesteading adventures in 2024.

Started building chicken coops about 6 years ago as a side hustle to make a little extra money. It exploded in year 5. Went from doing a chicken coop once a month to getting phone calls every week and then everyday from people needing a chicken coop. Tons of repeat customers. Have have a waiting list a mile long of orders for the last 2 years. It’s been a wild ride.

As of today I’m not taking anymore orders. The vegetable farm is doing well and deserves more attention. With the price of lumber through the roof and wire doubled it makes the decision very very easy. I’m devoting the late nights and all day Saturday work back to the garden, kissing my kids goodnight, Saturday morning fishing, and going to bed at a decent hour.

I will still build a coop “when I want to” and post it for sale but no more custom orders and no more placing orders. If I got it then I got it and you can get it lol. I’ll still do some work for existing customers some also as long as it doesn’t interfere with fishing and hunting season.

If you would like fresh vegetables we have them for sale.
