🌟 Building Trust with Horses: My First Steps 🌟

When I first meet a horse, my priority is to build trust. The initial introduction is crucial, so I let the horse touch and explore me first. This simple act shows them that I am not a threat and helps establish a connection.

Next, I move on to haltering and grooming, but I do this slowly, paying close attention to how the horse reacts. I’ve found that not rushing the process not only builds rapport but also allows me to understand how the horse responds to different stimuli. This approach is all about relationship building, which is essential for a successful partnership.
