Hello everyone, I wanted to address the way that OGG will proceed for the 2025 year. Mainly addressing my involvement for any future OGG events.

As most of you are aware, I was unable to attend the 2024 event due to my grandmother passing a way. I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers that have been said for my family and I as we continue to navigate this unpredictable grieving process that seems to be never ending.

I would like to note that there has appeared to be a lack of communication between Bobbi Tindle and I and it appears to have altered the way OGG will be ran moving forward.

I was under the assumption that I would be included in and continue to co-host OGG, but that appears to not be the case. As of 01/09/2025, I was informed by text message that I am no longer a cohost of this gathering (not in these exact words). On 01/05/2025, I attempted to log into the official OGG money account, to begin preparations for 2025 OGG, and it appeared I no longer had access. I attempted to address this immediately with Bobbi, but was unsuccessful in getting a prompt reply. On 01/09/2025, I was informed that I would no longer be permitted to have access to any money accounts affiliated with OGG. Then upon checking I had been removed from to any OGG administrative documents. Including being an admin on the OGG Facebook group, bank account and the 2025 OGG planning spreadsheets.

In the spirit of being open and honest with each of you, I not only welcome, but encourage any questions that each of you may have, if any. I will answer as honestly and accurately to the best of my ability.

I would like everyone to know that I have cherished the friendships and memories made over the last 10 years with OGG (approximately), with the most recent 5 years as a cohost. I hope to continue building friendships in this community, I’m not going anywhere 😉💜. However, I will no longer be affiliated with OGG, based on my interpretation of recent events and written documentation received by Bobbi.

Hi, I hope everyone is doing well. We have to ask a huge favor. We are needing door prizes for OGG (Ohio Glider Gathering). The event is Oct 11-12. I know it’s not much notice and I apologize.

I wish you knew how badly I hate to ask. I know times are difficult for everyone. I wish I could donate it all myself and not have to ask you but sadly, I’m not able to do that.

So, if you can find anything laying around that you’d like to donate, please let me know. Gift certificates are welcomed. I can make those for you. It would be greatly appreciated.
