I can't even explain the revelations being made as I progress through this mustang maddy course. Empowering horses through choice 🤯

So begins another adventure! This was who I got for the Teens And Oregon Mustangs challenge. I'll be picking his cute butt up December 3rd and you can come watch us compete and bid on him come March! He will be getting his own page soon enough and I'll try to keep updates going on his, this, and my personal page.

I am so very excited to announce that I will be beginning a course with Mustang Maddy! It's a completely new journey for me and my first time trying full R+ training methods! I'll try to post videos through our progress! I really am hoping that this is what I've been looking for to unlock my next chapter in my horse training journey. I have high hopes that this will help me re-find the JOY and passion in horses that I have some how lost over the years.

Whelp it's official. Miss Kimberly Almeida and I are some of the chosen few 😅 we will be road tripping to Burns to pick up our new summer projects in a month. I ended up deciding to take on a second horse instead of a b***o. So I'll be doing 2 in hand horses. Both are 2 year old geldings and both will be available at the competitions auction in August. I'll create them pages for anyone wanting to follow our journey! It's been a minute since I've gentled a wild one...we will see if I can hack it 😅

Feeling over the moon. Second time fully carted for this girl. Took some time and patience she had previously been carted but nothing was done well. When she was sent to me she couldn't even keep her feet still tied or loose. Did a lot of retraining and confidence building. She went from scared of the cart, unable to be harnessed without wiggling everywhere, to today. Calm, quiet, easy. That's what we strive for over here at SunRaven performance horses. First time with a cart horse but feeling pretty happy with results. She also learned to tie, pick up feet, clip, and go under saddle in the last 60 days. Sweet girl ready to go Make some memories ❤❤
