Joe and Caroline’s Spay/Neuter & Emergency Fund helps pay for animals in need of emergency care, all medical bills for the animals in residence, and spaying and neutering for those awaiting adoption. If people can't adopt, Joe and Caroline's Fund is a way to help a homeless pet in need. A Loyal Heart, Left Behind
Colonel is a 3-year-old mini Goldendoodle whose world changed forever when his person — his best friend, protector, and constant companion — was tragically killed in a hunting accident. Since then, Colonel has been waiting… confused, grieving, and looking for the one person who will never come home.
Colonel is incredibly loyal, deeply protective, and absolutely devoted once he bonds with someone. He’s the kind of dog who takes his job seriously — keeping watch, staying close, and making sure his person feels safe. But beneath that watchful heart is a playful soul. He loves playing ball more than just about anything, and he’s amazing in the car — always ready for the next adventure, as long as it’s with you.
Because of his protective nature, Colonel would do best in a quieter home without a lot of guests coming and going. He’s not aggressive, just incredibly loyal — the kind of dog who picks his person and gives them everything he has. Right now, he’s trying to figure out where that person went… and we’re hoping someone new can show him that love still lives here.
