Finally wrapped up my 2025–2026 competition pieces.

A lot of hours went into these… from building the habitat from scratch, messing with different ideas, reworking things that didn’t feel right, and just taking the time to get everything how I pictured it. The wolf piece especially pushed me to slow down and really focus on the little details.

It’s always a process, but that’s the part I enjoy the most, seeing it all come together after putting all the time in!!

Last year at the Port Clinton Children’s Fishing Rodeo, McKenzie was the lucky winner of the raffle certificate for a fish mount, and now she finally has her fish back home where it belongs!!

It was awesome getting to be part of this special event and watching the journey from the day she proudly caught her fish to the day she got to hold the finished mount. Seeing that excitement come full circle is what makes projects like this so rewarding.

This mount was created to capture her catch from last year’s rodeo, and I’m honored to have been part of preserving the memory. Congratulations again to McKenzie on her beautiful fish and her mount!

I’ll be planning to attend the rodeo again this year, so keep an eye out — you might get another chance at winning a raffle certificate! Looking forward to seeing everyone there again!!

Big PA black bear all roughed in and I’m really happy with how it turned out!!

I really Appreciate the trust from my customer on this project, mounts like this are always a fun challenge and a great addition to any trophy room!
