🐾 Meet Neo 🐾

As many of you know, a lot has changed — but our mission hasn’t. We’re now a foster-based rescue, still saving lives and finding loving homes for amazing dogs like Neo.

Neo is a 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix, recently neutered and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a family who sees him for the sweet, gentle boy he is.
He can be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he is full of love and unwavering loyalty. He’s been living in foster care with his sister, Nadia, who tends to steal the spotlight — so Neo would thrive in a home where he can enjoy more individual attention and build his confidence at his own pace.

For 35 years, Diane’s Discount Pet Supplies & Adoption Center was more than just a store, it was a second home where my kids, our staff’s kids, our customers’ kids, and their friends grew up playing hide-and-seek among the shelves. It was a haven where we poured our hearts into rescuing every animal we possibly could.

In January 2024, I partnered with Animal House Project, hoping to expand our rescue mission. Instead, it turned into a hostile takeover—and looking back, it feels like that was the plan all along.

One day, the locks were changed. No warning. No communication.
I was never bought out or compensated for the equipment or property inside.
Yesterday, when I tried to peacefully retrieve a few personal belongings, they called the police on me. I was told I am no longer allowed in the place I built.

💔 The store we all loved? It’s not that anymore.
👉 I want to be clear: I am no longer affiliated with the store—not in name, not in mission, and not in spirit.

But I’m still here—and so is my mission!
🐾 I founded Diane’s Pet Rescue—a nonprofit dedicated to the same work I’ve always done: rescuing animals, supporting families, and hosting low-cost vaccine clinics, now at rescue-friendly, community-focused pet stores that share our values.

We’re keeping the heart of Diane’s alive. ❤️

ADOPTED 🐾 Ash is an approximatly 10 month old mini doodle. He loves everyone and is good with other dogs. Ash prefers to be right next to his human at all times, and he can't get enough cuddles! He is in his foster home, anxiously waiting for his forever home 🐾

ADOPTED! Ladybug is a loving and devoted companion, weighing 12 pounds and 2 years old. She is house-trained and will happily follow you from room to room, snuggle under the covers at bedtime, and even bring you her favorite squeaky toy for a game of fetch-yes, she fetches! Ladybug is friendly with everyone, including visitors, but she may not be suitable for a home with young children. Recently spayed, Ladybug gets along well with both dogs and cats.
