Eric will NOT be one of them, he will be hiding somewhere.

Dear potential forever family,
My name is Audrey! I am a 1 1/2 year old chocolate lab that has had a pretty rough life up until I arrived here at PHS. I was very neglected and malnourished while living in a hoarding situation. Despite it all, my tail doesn’t stop wagging and my heart is wide open and so full of love and joy. I’ve been able to put on some weight, but I still have a ways to go. I know I would really thrive in a loving home. Did I mention how much I like to snuggle and receive kisses? If I can’t make it home by Xmas, I would be happy to watch the ball drop with you. 😊 2026 is going to be a great year for me. I just know it!

I am currently available as a foster to adopt while waiting to get spayed.

Dear Santa,
I am writing to make sure that I didn’t accidentally get on your naughty list. I was just being a young puppy when I suddenly found myself out on the streets all alone. I was so scared Santa, but a kind person found me and got me to a safe and warm place at PHS. I’ve been here for several weeks and am now 4 months old. I really try to mind my manners, but I just can’t contain my excitement when I get attention. I tend to be a bit clingy and jumpy, but I just need someone with love and patience to teach me. So Santa, can you see that I really am trying to be a good pup that has just had a rough start? My only wish is for my forever family to find me and bring me home. I know that I could be a big help unwrapping those presents.

Our recent post about Blueberry received an incredible response, with so many wonderful applications coming in. She can’t wait to meet her very first potential family!

Today, we’re also excited to introduce Blueberry’s “twin” — Samantha. She’s like a reversed mirror image of Blueberry, with her own unique color pattern. Samantha is a gentle lap dog with a huge heart. At about 3 years old, she’s full of love, has excellent manners, and is wonderful with both kids and other dogs. (Cat testing available upon request!)

If you’ve applied for Blueberry but would like to meet Samantha as well, please let us know.

Dear Santa,
I’ve been such a good girl all year. I’ve been very kind and loving to the humans at PHS that take good care of me. I have been blessed with a heart of gold and just love giving them kisses. Even though I am 3 years old now and still waiting for my turn, I still have hope. So Santa, can you help me? My only wish for Xmas is to find my family that will love me forever. Perhaps they are wishing for me too and you can grant both our wishes. If they have other dogs, that is fine with me.
