HI STRANGERS!

Mama has been busy this summer, as usual.

My 2 kiddos are starting 1st and pre-kindergaten. We've had play dates, caring for our 5 acres (which is over an acre of grass btw) on top of MY gardens. Playing with our cousins, the whole dozen or so of them that are under 6 years old! We also have a couple songbirds up here with us.
The summer is fast and slow at the same time.
I'll be back soon my loves.

Have I ever shown you guys my mantis and spood tattoo? What tattoos do you guys have? I've about got a suit at this point 🤣😅

*The octopus you see is actually a matching one to my husband. His is black and white, and on his right butt cheek. Mine is full color and Nuevo on my thigh. That's what I get for betting my husband I can beat him at pool. That is a *lost a bet tattoo* thankfully he had good taste and we still like eachother!

I know its not spood related but I am so proud of my husband! He received a bravery award from his brothers in red (the firefighters) tonight.

Tonight, Northern Lakes Fire honored eight members of our regional SWAT team with the Firefighter’s Medal of Bravery for their heroic actions on June 29, 2025, when they rendered aid to NLFD Captain Wiedenhoff and CDA Fire Engineer Tysdal.

Brock, Ballman, Tulleners, Bangs, Jolley, Sanchez, Jones, and Orr — thank you for your courage, professionalism, and commitment to serving others. We are grateful for your actions and proud to recognize your service.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the dispatchers and the many public safety agencies that responded that day. Their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication were instrumental during a difficult and challenging incident.
