Two woman face charges after multiple dead animals were found and other living animals were seized during a search of a South Norfolk residence earlier this month. In court, Chesapeake Animal Services asked the judge to take custody of the animals now under their care, which they estimate to cost over $5,600 and includes medical care, which they said will continue to rise. It also factors in that some animals may need to be euthanized.

Dog and cat owners can now fill common pet prescriptions at more than 9,000 CVS Pharmacy locations nationwide.

CVS Health announced Tuesday that CVS Pharmacy is now dispensing select prescription medications for dogs and cats, including antibiotics, allergy medications, flea and tick treatments, insulin and pain relievers, making it easier for pet owners to access medications for their animals.
