Wedgewood Pharmacy, an outside compounding pharmacy used for some of our patients, has issued a large recall affecting over 4,000 compounded medications dated from early 2026 to present.

If your pet receives a compounded medication from Wedgewood, please check your product’s SKU at wedgewood.com/recall-lookup. Wedgewood will also be reaching out to affected clients directly.

The liquid inside is generally not considered toxic, but it can cause a strong bitter taste, excessive drooling, foaming, and mouth irritation. If your pet chews on a glow stick or glow jewelry, rinse their mouth with water and monitor them closely. 🐾

🎃🚪 Trick-or-treaters at the door can be exciting for us, but stressful for our pets. With the doorbell ringing and people coming and going, it’s also an easy time for a pet to slip out unnoticed.

Create a safe space away from the front door with a favorite toy, puzzle feeder, or calming background noise. Before opening the door, take a quick moment to make sure your pet is safely out of the way.

And just in case they do get out, make sure their ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
