I went on a dog-led truffle hunt just outside of Portland today with Heidi from . It was so fun to watch the dogs hike and work at finding the truffles for the whole morning. We could not have asked for better weather. Afterwards we all tasted delicious truffle infused foods and went home with some white truffles!

Please stop using sticky traps, they are cruel for every animal that comes into contact with them. Today I rescued a crow that had its wing stuck in a sticky trap. This crow will not grow new wing feathers for another year, this year's feathers are now destroyed thanks to this trap.
