IMPORTANT WATER SAFETY INFORMATION

Due to ongoing water infrastructure maintenance, including the replacement of water pumps and distribution lines, the water supply may be contaminated.

INSTRUCTIONS:

**All residents MUST:**
- Boil all water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and washing dishes
- Boil water for at least ONE (1) FULL MINUTE
- Let boiled water cool before use
- Use boiled or bottled water for:
- Drinking
- Preparing food
- Making ice
- Brushing teeth
- Washing dishes

EXCEPTIONS:
- Water used for flushing toilets does NOT need to be boiled

RECOMMENDED PRECAUTIONS:
- Discard any beverages or ice made with tap water since the last 12/16/24
- Clean and sanitize ice makers after water advisory is lifted
- Use bottled water if possible

Tarps and Facility Heaters

As a friendly reminder, please be sure when purchasing your tarp for this winter to use white or clear tarps only on your boat. This helps ensure consistency and protects the overall appearance and upkeep of the marina. If you have any other color you will be asked to replace it asap.

Additionally, we kindly ask that the heaters in the bathrooms, showers and laundry room be set between 68°F and 72°F. Keeping the temperature within this range will help the heaters run more efficiently, preventing overheating and freezing, which can cause unnecessary wear and tear.

Finally, please remember to close the bathroom and shower doors behind you when you leave. This helps maintain a comfortable environment and ensures the space stays clean and energy-efficient for everyone’s use.

Dog and Cat Policy Reminder

Dear Residents,

We kindly remind all dog owners to keep their pets on a leash while on property, including the areas extending to the railroad tracks and boat ramp. This policy ensures the safety and comfort of all residents and their pets.

Please remember to clean up after your dog promptly. Proper waste disposal is essential for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for everyone.

Additionally, we remind cat owners that cats must remain on your boat at all times. This helps protect local wildlife and ensures the safety of your feline companions.

Your cooperation helps keep our community safe and enjoyable for all.

NOTICE OF FEE INCREASES

Effective September 1, 2024, the following fee increases will go into effect:

Liveaboard Fees:
The monthly liveaboard fee will increase by $25, bringing the new total to $200 per month.

Storage Fees:
The monthly storage fee will increase by $25, bringing the new total to $100 per month.

These fee adjustments are necessary to keep up with rising operational costs. We appreciate your understanding.

The dock has been salted again this morning. Please stay inside if you can as it is still very slick. If you need to go out into the dock please be very careful.

NO Gas, Diesel, Oil or Propane containers
This is a friendly reminder that NO gas, diesel, oil or propane containers are permitted to be stored on the docks.

According to marina policy and safety regulations, all fuel and hazardous materials must be properly stored in a secure, sealed location when not in active use. They cannot remain on the docks overnight or unattended.

We ask that everyone please remove any fuel, oil or propane containers you may have on the docks. Leaving combustible materials on the docks poses a major fire hazard and safety risk to the entire marina.

Additionally, any kind of fuel or oil spill must be cleaned up immediately. Per Coast Guard regulations, we are not to use dish soap like Dawn to clean up spills. The proper absorbent materials must be used. Please report any leaks or spills immediately so we can contain the situation.

It is up to all of us to maintain a safe environment. Thank you for your cooperation and for properly storing and handling hazardous materials. If you have any questions, please contact the marina office.
