We buried my mom today after a long battle with liver cancer. She passed away just after midnight on Monday. My parents were married for nearly 60 years. My dad was her primary caretaker in the last few months, a very difficult task.
This experience has taught me to prepare because someone has to take care of the arrangements and expense if it’s not already in place. It’s mentally taxing on the family at a very emotional time.
My mom is now at peace and no longer in pain. I saw this rainbow tonight as I was closing the blinds. May there be peace and healing for my family.
