Beyond honey, beyond pollen… there’s something even more fascinating inside the hive.

Bee bread is created through a natural fermentation process where pollen, nectar, and enzymes transform over time into a complex, preserved food. It’s one of the most important substances in the hive—and one of the most intriguing for those exploring traditional and naturally fermented foods.

From structure to flavor, bee bread is completely different from raw pollen. Tangy, rich, and deeply connected to the environment it comes from, it offers a glimpse into the hive’s natural process of transformation.

Curious how it’s made and how people are experiencing it today? We just shared a full guide blog on our website. , , , ,

We’re excited to share something new at Bee-Licious Honey.

We are now a U.S. distributor of Tualang honey from Health Harvest, a rare wild-harvested honey sourced from the rainforests of Southeast Asia.

This honey is collected from towering trees rather than traditional hives, making it completely unique in both origin and character.

Because there’s so much to share about this honey, we’ve created a separate page where we’ll be diving deeper into the story, sourcing, and what makes it different.
