Arrived at said booth this morning and immediately started asking the important questions...

“Did he visit again last night?”

The neighboring vendors had theories.

Early shoppers had questions.

Was the Cat Burglar back?
Did he strike again?
Or is he laying low after becoming an internet celebrity?

I think there’s only one way to find out...

Another purr-fect weekend at the market! 🐾

This week’s cat recap featured everyone from brand-new kitten energy to familiar furry faces. Meet Honey, a 10-week-old sweetheart picking out her very first CatnipTakeout toy, and one of our favorite regulars, Thomas, who stopped by with his best friend Charlie the Border Collie. 🐱🐶

One of the best parts of what we do is watching kittens discover their first toy and seeing returning customers who have been shopping with us for years. Sixteen years later, it’s still the cats (and their humans) that make every weekend special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and shared stories, photos, and laughs with us. We can’t wait to see who visits the booth next weekend!

The internet demanded receipts.

This is the ACTUAL footage of our infamous Cat Burglar.

What started as a simple toy inspection quickly escalated into a full-blown bunny-kicking session. One Kicker Catnip Toy was pulled down and absolutely demolished for 90 straight seconds.

The dedication.
The commitment.
The complete lack of shame.
Feral Cat Approved.

If this cat ever applies for a job at CatnipTakeout, they’re hired.

The cat burglar struck again. 😼

He broke into the booth, ignored the rules, skipped checkout, and went straight for his favorite CatnipTakeout toy.

Honestly? Respect the taste. Questionable life choices, excellent toy standards.

Stay tuned for the actual kitty cam footage. The evidence is coming, and this tiny criminal has absolutely no regrets.

One of our favorite parts of every market weekend? Meeting the cats behind the orders.

This weekend we saw familiar feline faces from customers who have been shopping with us for years, shared stories about favorite toys, and watched cats add to their growing CatnipTakeout collections. 🛍️

But the moment that melted us? A 9-week-old kitten picking out their very first toy. 🥹 Tiny paws, endless zoomies, and the start of what we hope is a lifetime of play.

After 15+ years of cats choosing us, moments like these never get old. From lifelong toy collectors to first-time kittens, thank you for letting us be part of your cats’ stories.

POV: you’re working the market and suddenly someone walks up holding a BOOK with your business inside 😭🐾📖

After 15+ years of cats choosing us… apparently Vancouver chose us too.

I had NO idea CatnipTakeout was featured inside an “Explore Vancouver Washington” guidebook until a customer walked into the booth and flipped to the page. I genuinely thought they were about to ask where the bathroom was. 💀

Little moments like this hit different when you’ve spent years hauling tents in the rain, setting up before sunrise, sewing toys late at night, and building something one cat family at a time.

Still wrapping my head around this one. 🥹🛍️

Some cats panic. Ele Ele starts engineering solutions. 🐈‍⬛⚡

Ele Ele accidentally got caught in a Trader Joe’s bag today. Did she freeze? Nope. Did she ask for help? Absolutely not.

Instead, Chaos Queen immediately switched into tiny bada$$ problem solver mode and figured out her own escape route. One minute: trapped. Next minute: “Stand back everyone, I’ve got this.” 😹

This is the same kitten energy that investigates first and asks questions never. Honestly, I’m starting to think she sees every minor inconvenience as an extreme sport.

Anyone else have a cat that turns every problem into their own action movie scene? ⬇️
