Happy 4th of July from Goldiva Goldens! We’re so excited to share the dogs on the July cover magazines of Dog News and Brinkleys on Showsight! 4 dogs in the Top 20 Goldens. Clockwise Am GCHB Geti, Am GCHB Brinkley, Am CH Cristal, Am GCHB Jouët, Am GCH Sake and Am GCHB Sizzle. Sizzle is 8 weeks pregnant with Beth Johnson’s Am CH Summits Game On! “Reggie” whose mother “Chloe” BIS BISS GCHP2 CH Summits It In The Bag OD SDHF has the most All-Breed Best In Shows of ANY female Golden Retriever and the most BISS Wins in Breed History! Sorry Goldiva Family, the Reunion has been cancelled. There’s a cancellation notice on the website. I need to get my BP under control. It was 175/106 last week. Cardio issues run in the family. I’m in denial that I’m not 40 yrs old in my head. Hopefully we can meet up at the Goldens on the Green gathering October 5th, 1-3:00 in Amhurst, NH Town Green. Look for them on FB. Jouët was Best of Breed and Group 1 today at the local Cumberland Fairgrounds shows. It was so thrilling to be down to the last 7 dogs for Best In Show. The Giant Schnauzer won and little Papillion was Reserve. Thank you Judge Robert Whitney for loving our girl! Hailey Carusi and Jouet just floated in the ring today, beautiful to watch their relationship. And extra fun to see Robert Carusi take Jouet in for Best In Show! Hailey had her pretty little Bearded Collie, Coco, in the ring too Jouet is happy to go with anyone, typical Golden. Wow!! Fantastic news today!!! 5pt Major Best of Breed “BOB” for Goldiva’s Heard It Thru The Grapevine “Gossip” at the Yankee Golden Retriever Club Specialty!! Wow!! Plus, GCHB Jouet was Select Bitch for a Major. Jouet won 3 BOB’s last weekend and Is currently #6 female in the US! Gossip only needs 2 pts to finish her Am CH title, hopefully at the Maine dog shows this week!! 80 goldens were present today! Gossip is from Summit’s Shaymus/Geti. Thank you Judge Bruce McLean for loving our girls! Hailey Carusi, Kasey O’Brien and The Carusi Professional Dog Handling Team are amazing!! They make the dogs look so beautiful! New Grand CHampion SAKE finishing with a 3 pt Major!! New Am CH CRISTAL on Friday!! What an excellent weekend in NJ for Hailey Carusi, Kasey O’Brien and The Carusi Professional Dog Handling Team!! OPUS was Winners Dog today and Best of Breed and Best of Winners Thurs/Friday bringing him to 11 or 12 pts. He needs Majors to finish. JOUET was Select today and BOS Thursday. GOSSIP was 1st place all 4 days. SAKE is my daughter, Katherine Wood’s first Am GCH. SAKE was Best of Winners at the GRCA National Specialty and Select at the AKC National.
