American Crow ♡

Reflecting on my ‘first’ crow (second slide) from 8 years ago (you bet the neck, legs, wing meat and brains are still inside, and of course I buried it in corn meal 😅).

I’m still not quite where I’d like to be with my birds (is any good taxidermist?!) but always looking forward to finding the flaws after each mount so I can make the next one that much better!

Lenny was a lot of firsts for me; first roo I incubated, hatched, culled (🥺), and mounted. He was also my first blue! Lotta fun learning new techniques with him.

The black belly is a cute lil duck that came from Florida(: he had a lot of feather slippage, which was also a great learning opportunity

Inspired to go bigger and better next year 😤
