Good things come to those that wait! We just received this original framed oil painting by artist J. Scott Wilson, and it will be available to bid on at our annual dinner and auction on Saturday June 27th at the Tualatin Country Club in Tualatin, OR.

June is National Foster a Pet month! You can save a life as a foster. Golden Bond Rescue has a great need for foster families, especially those with no pets, and those with no cats. While many retrievers that come in do well with other dogs and have a known history with cats, a lot of them need to decompress in a home with either no pets or no cats.

🐾❤️ RESCUE RIDE: 3-YEAR-OLD TUCKER 4465 ❤️🐾

Yesterday's new arrivals aren't the only handsome boys to join Golden Bond's family this weekend. Meet yellow Lab Tucker who made the journey from his surrendering home to his fosters in the Seattle area today. Thank you so much Lisa and Jim for each driving a leg, and thanks also to our intrepid Jan for organizing transport.

Everyone who met Tucker today reports that he is super sweet, and he seems to be settling well into his foster home. Looks like he's trying to tell them that it's dinner time. That's a Lab for you!

Stay tuned for updates as he settles into his foster home and completes his vetting!

SUCCESS SUNDAY

5-year-old Cedar is a Golden Retriever who came to the rescue highly under-socialized. And she wouldn't let another dog near her. After a couple of months in foster care and then finding the perfect match for Cedar to continue to come out of her shell, Cedar is now living the best life!

"Never have I seen a dog love her dad as much as Cedar does! When she came to us, she had never really learned how to play with other dogs and thought her 14-pound brother, Timmy, was something to chase. Today, Timmy is her best friend and sidekick as they roam our five acres in search of squirrels. Cedar loves carrying toys and treasures around in her mouth and has even taught Timmy to do the same. When she’s not playing fetch with her favorite ball, she’s usually soaking up the sunshine—or accidentally standing on her sister, Roobie Doo. Cedar has brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives. Thank you GB rescue!"

Please welcome 1-year-old Buddy and almost 2-year-old River to foster care in Golden Bond Rescue. The boys had a long journey to their foster homes, and both fosters seem smitten. Can you blame them?
