We have been so busy but the good news is we are adding a new groomer. Everyone help me welcome Leigh. They are an amazing groomer and we are so excited to have them!

Hi! My name is Leigh Nelson. I'm so glad to be joining the LoneStar team! Working with dogs has been my passion since my first job, back in my home-town of Shreveport, Louisiana, at an animal shelter in 2021! I began to specialize in dog grooming in 2023 which then turned into an immense love for caring for people and their pets. This journey has taken me across all avenues of grooming: from caring for the aging seniors to being patient with the rambunctious puppies, creative dye jobs to breed standard grooms, I'm always prepared to continue learning.

While I'm a lover of all things fluffy, you're most likely to find me with a golden retriever or a poodle! I was raised with goldens and have become only slightly poodle obsessed thanks to grooming.

We're so excited to be moving to Houston and becoming a part of the LoneStar community 🐾 Can't wait to meet y'all!

Some of you may have noticed a new face around the salon. Please help us welcome Payge to our grooming family. She is taking care of bath dogs and assisting when needed. She owns 2 bullys and a frenchie and loves all the dogs! We are very happy to have her and if you see her please say hi!!
