As we go into this heat wave of a week make sure to take all safety precautions while out walking your pup!!
⭐️Always test the pavement before you let your dog walk on the asphalt, if you can’t keep the palm of your hand on the ground comfortably for more than 5 seconds, it’s not safe for your dogs paws to be walking on either! Try to keep them on grass or in shaded areas as much as possible
⭐️Always check for signs of overheating or heat exhausting such as excessive panting, signs of being more lethargic than usual, and excessive drooling
⭐️And most importantly HYDRATE!! Always make sure to give your dog fresh water after every walk or trip outside and let them have a chance to cool down in some nice AC after your time outside :)

Reilly and Parker got pulled over for doing 20 MPH under the speed limit πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ. (At least they weren’t walking on the wrong side of the road!! 🀣😏)

Be safe out there! Make sure you and your pup stay hydrated! And make sure to check the temp (with your hand) of the surface you are walking your pup on! You can burn the pads of your dogs feet on the hot asphalt!! Stay in the shade and grass as much as possible and keep walks short in this heat the next several days! πŸ”₯β˜€οΈπŸŒˆ

We tackle all varieties of training including obedience, aggression, and solving problem behaviors. We offer training with owner, training without owner, and board and train. We provide walking services with emphasis on teaching good leash behavior; varying between 15 minutes to an hour. We also offer 15 and 30 minute pet checks, ideal for busy households.
