Far Point CANNOT take any cats or kittens but maybe they can help

Thanks to a generous grant from the Sharon Lutheran Church in Selinsgrove, we are piloting a program to support the spay and neuter of owned pets. For details and to apply for help, please visit https://www.cherishedcats.org/needhelp.

We have received $3,084.14 from the Raise the Region proceeds. We extend our sincere gratitude to our friends and followers who contributed to this fundraiser in March. Without community donations, we could not continue to provide care to the animals at Far Point Animal Rescue

These photographs bring immense joy to the staff and volunteers at Far Point. Georgian Bey has finally been cleared to graze in the pasture after weeks of stall confinement due to a leg injury. During this period, she and our other mare, Summer, developed a friendship. Kim and Cricket decided to attempt pasturing them together, and the results were successful!! They have reconciled their competitive nature and now enjoy each other's company after years of separation.
If only humans could learn this simple lesson.
