Howe Farm Dog Park
Work Party
When: June 20th
Time: 9:00-12:00 PM
This will be our first work party in over a year and there is much to do and a task to meet all talents.
Pick up trash in parking lot.
Pick up dog poo in Park.
Remove large throwing sticks and rocks from grassland.
Cut lower limbs from trees to facilitate mowing.
Fill in holes from digger dogs.
Clear the area along the stream fences, between the bridges, of branches and shrubs.
Repair fence lines when needed.
Trim back berries from fence lines and trails.
Trim low branches along trails in the forest.
Bring tools you think you might need: wheel barrows, clippers, loppers, electric w**d trimmers. pruning saws, shovels, rakes. etc.
Work shoes and gloves are suggested.
(As always, well behaved dogs are also welcome)
