Rocco is an interesting guy. You wouldn't know it from this picture, but he lives in a state of heightened anxiety. He whines and his tail whips back and forth, not in a happy way, but as an aroused, unsure response to almost everything. His family has done some training but can't calm his brain enough to be able to safely handle him around any kind of distraction. So, why is he looking so comfortable here? Because through teaching him a few new skills, he is finally learning how to self-regulate and relax. Once we teach him to have some control in the house, then we can bring that mind state to outside walks. A+, Rocco!

Penelope was a wreck in the car: panting, whining, fussing, trying to get into the front. It made car trips miserable for everybody. So we taught her to transfer skills she already had in the house to the car. No more panic! She was able to relax and it is now definitely safer for all. A+!

Little Magnolia has done a fine job of no longer going bonkers when she sees other dogs. Until she gets on her golf cart! So we took her training on the road to teach her how to ride safely and no longer crazily react to every other dog. It didn’t take long for the lessons she learned at home to become clear in new places. A+ Mags!
