I may offend some people by saying this but in light of what has just happened in Texas I must say this.

Please do not come into my shop and say. "The only good snake is a dead snake". You will be asked to leave.

Most negative interactions with snakes or any wildlife is our own fault.

Leave them alone, they don't want to be friends with you as much as you don't want to be friends with them.

Rant not over but I must stop myself.......

This is why you don't mess with native wildlife. Not only is it illegal to capture and keep them, it is dangerous. As much as it has been insisted to me, we do not have water moccasins in our area.
