* PLEASE READ * Monday was a beautiful day at the dog park. While I was getting the garbage ready, I met eight new furry friends and their owners. Some of them said they use the park occasionally and others come 5+ days a week. It was great to hear their thoughts on our Port Edwards park and why they visit. It was also great to see so many people using the park on a nice sunny evening. (Before Mother Nature dumps more snow on us.) … On that note, I spent at least an hour picking up 2 full grocery bags of dog 💩💩 at the park Monday night and barely made a dent. There is lots of work to be done after a long winter, and your help is needed. There is a scooper at the park, and we would appreciate EVERYONE’S help in picking up some 💩💩 while they visit. We don’t charge a membership fee, so we do ask everyone to pitch in as spring arrives to get the park clean. Once the park dries, we will also work with the village to fill in the holes that have formed over winter. And as always, if you have any questions/concerns about the park, don’t hesitate to reach out through Facebook or email [email protected]. – Jamie Rokus, board member
