H.R.D Course taught in NH. May 5th 2025
This course will be based on a proven detection dog program that will be an intense 200 hour course of working the dog and handler in behavior modification scent association.
Most H.R.D programs are based on training one to two days a week this will be training Monday through Thursday multiple exercises and teaching a passive response to H.R.D which includes actually several odors.
This course is designed for the serious person that wants to take part in a response team working with fish and game or the state and local agencies.
The dogs and handlers have to pass a pre-screening to be able to attend the school it is not a food motivated course.
I have worked with five dual purpose dogs of my own and trained multiple single purpose detection dogs and dual purpose dogs using this program it is very effective and the knowledge you will gain you will be able to maintain your canine with constant training.
