It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.

Say hello to Raven, one of our amazing team members who has been with our hospital family since 2021! 🐾

Raven brings so much skill (and just the right amount of spooky vibes 👻) to everything she does. When she’s not helping in all areas of the hospital, you can find her spending time with her favorite people — Mikey & Sophia — and making the most of any family or friend get-together. 💕

A true doggie lover, Raven’s favorite breeds are Dobermans, Boxers, and Bullies — big hearts and even bigger personalities!

Outside of work, she’s a huge foodie who loves exploring new eats, catching live music, and enjoying theme and water parks whenever she can. 🎢🎶🍔

We’re so lucky to have Raven as part of our team — her love for our patients, training, learning & fun makes every day a little brighter here at CAH! 🐶🐱💚

Spirit week is underway at Charlotte Animal Hospital. Today, our staff had a blast participating in twin day!
