Today we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Rachel, one of our amazing surgery technicians! Rachel has been a certified technician for four years and has been part of our hospital family for the past two.

When she’s not caring for patients, Rachel enjoys drawing, playing cozy video games, and spending quality time with her fiancé and their two pups - Juno the hound mix and Kato the American Staffordshire Terrier mix. 🐾

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Michelle Wittmer, a rockstar Lead Pharmacy Technician and eight-year team member. Michelle's all about reading and family time when she's not working. She's also a total softie for boxers and shih tzu's. The best part of her job? Educating clients and caring for their pets, of course. She’s a proud vegan and shares her home with three dogs, three cats, her husband, twins, and daughter—it's a full (and fun!) house. In her free time, you’ll probably find her reading a good book or enjoying the water. Caring for animals is her passion, and it shows in everything she does! She is a valued member of our team who is always the first to lend a helping hand. 🐾💕

Our special teammate spotlight today goes out to our lead technician, Harly! She has been a valued member of our team since 2018, bringing compassion, dedication, and deep knowledge to every aspect of her work. Her passion for veterinary medicine was inspired at an early age while spending time in veterinary clinics alongside her mother, who helped shape her career path. ❤️

As our Lead Technician, Harly is especially passionate about heartworm prevention and educating pet owners on the importance of proactive care. She's also a strong advocate for pet adoption—something she lives by every day, sharing her home with two rescue dogs and three rescue cats. 🐶🐶🐱🐱🐱
