Hard to believe that it’s been a year since we lost our friend and coworker, Cathy. The clinic hasn’t been the same without her, and while so much has changed, we’ve learned a lot in the past year – about resilience, teamwork, and just how much she did to keep things running smoothly (seriously, how did she juggle it all?)

We still catch ourselves thinking, Cathy would have handled this in two seconds. We miss her laugh, her sass, her steady presence - and we are grateful for all the ways she left her mark on our team. Today we remember her with love and keep working hard – because you know she’d call us out if we weren’t.

Meet Duce – He’s More Than Just a Good Boy

A while back, Duce did something incredible. His owner did not feel anything out of the ordinary, but Duce started acting odd – he refused to leave his owners side, kept jumping on him, and clearly knew something was wrong. Turns out his owner was having a heart attack and did not even realize it yet. Once EMS arrived Duce refused to leave his owners side, rode with him in the in the ambulance, and even stayed by his side in the ICU until his owner was stable. Duce really is a more than a good boy, and his owner is beyond proud to have such an amazing best friend.

Berts Birthday was this past week, and in the festivities, we forgot to post his birthday photo! Bert has been providing moral support to patients and staff for a whole year, we sure do love this (not so) little guy!
