$25 adoptions, great dogs must find homes before 8/31/25.!

ALL DOGS MUST GO! N.O. PAWS LEFT BEHIND RESCUE, Oroville WA FACILITY CLOSING AUGUST 31, 2025

To say the last few years have been tough would be an understatement! We went from clear the shelter at the start of COVID to fill the shelter when everyone went back to their normal lives. At N.O. Paws Left Behind Rescue we hit some major management issues during this time, from mismanagement of dogs to misappropriation of funds, to new volunteers who came in and caused mayhem and then walked away to start something easier, and making a path of destruction behind them. A new board stepped up and the rescue managed to stay afloat through all of this thanks to our dedicated volunteers and donors, up until now. After our most recent self reporting of embezzlement by the former manager and founder, our dog adoptions have slowed to almost nothing, and so have our donations. We do not have enough funds to buy the next pallet of dog food and we still have a bill with Tonasket Veterinary Service that needs to be paid, in addition, we have the continued costs of maintaining the facility if we were to keep it open.

After a lot of consideration by the board, it has been decided that we will close the facility at the end of August 2025. We have just over 30 days to find homes for the 23 dogs at N.O. Paws Left Behind and we need you to help by sharing their information. We will be offering $25 adoption fees on all of our dogs in hopes that will assist with their placement. If you can please reach out to any rescue facilities that may have room to take some of our dogs we would appreciate help with that as well, but we do need help with transporting them also.

Aspen, Bailey, Betsy, Blacky, Jax, Jim Dean, Justice (adopted ), Lux, Max, Ozzy, Rascal, Stella, Stoney, Zeus, Luna, Octavia, Handsome, Moose, Chloe, Phoebe (adopted) would appreciate as many shares as you can give them! Now is the time for them to find their happily ever after!

Oi, Monday... It's the little things that keep me chugging through!

Hey y'all, it's your friendly neighborhood rescue coordinator June of PAIR coming to share one of our glimmers (with permission from the involved parties).

Remember the kittens from Forks who were orphaned due to Mom falling prey to an eagle? The ones who were adopted by a lactating mother with 7 fresh kittens of her own in the same colors known as The Jellybeans?

Mario, Georgie Porgie, and Lemondrop were adopted together into a family with three teenage daughters in mid July. The mother of these girls gave us permission to update y'all, as they've expressed their thanks in the following message:

"Just a little update since I know you put so much time and love and energy into these babies! 🧡 They are all healing great and adjusting so well. They are so loved and spoiled.

The morning of messaging you about Georgie, that night, he came right out of his shell. He's been such a love and outgoing ever since.

All the kids have their favorites but like you said yours is, Lemon is definitely mine too! The kittens all sleep within the girls rooms. I wake up first and go downstairs, the babies all come down for their morning wet food. Lemon will eat his food, then climb up on my chest for a short cuddle nap.

When one climbs up to cuddle, they all do 😂

They don't seem to mind the dog either! "

Are you the kind of person with space in your life for something on the smaller side? We are looking for ADOPTERS for 7 CHIHUAHUA/possibly Jack Russell mix PUPPIES!!

We have 6 available NOW, 3 boys and 3 girls. Of those, 3 are in foster and the other 3 were a bit camera shy, but warmed up when treats came out and space to build trust showed.

The puppies are 3.5 months old and will be altered, vaccinated, and microchipped over the weekend.

If you'd like to adopt one of these sweet babies, please pm us here on FB to schedule an appointment with Juniper and Nicole. The adoption fee is $300 per puppy.
