I had a good time at The Super Sixty Spring Hootenanny Show that the Southern Comfort Cavy Club put on in Mt.Vernon,Tx. There was a lot of nice cavy’s at the show including two of my cavy’s. Cajun Land Cavy’s”Aspen” my Silver and White Teddy Boar won Best of Breed, under Judge Jason Whitehurst. Cajun Land Cavy’s “Black Beauty” my American Black Satin Sow won Honorable Mention for Best in Show under Judge Steve Lussier. My other cavy’s won a lot of Best in Variety, and Best of Opposite S*x. Overall it was a good weekend at the show’s for Cajun Land Cavy’s. Thank you to all of the other exhibitors that showed up for a friendly competition.Thank you to the Judges that participated. There time and expertise was appreciated . Thank to The Southern Comfort Cavy Club for putting on the show. We look forward to coming to the next show next year. I also want to Thank Garret Jessica N Michael Jagneaux for selling me 5 new REO’s to enhance my REO American program. These beautiful pigs will fit right in to strengthen my program. I also want to give a Special Thanks to Reed Tibbetts and Janis Benjamin Tibbetts for picking up my 3 beautiful pigs at The Specialty, and taking good care of them for a month and two weeks until we could meet up at the show. They have been great mentors to my breeding program.

Welcome Hubnik’s”Silver Pearl's babies" to the world. Mom had 3 boars and 1 sow. We were hoping the Silver Agouti pup would have been a sow, not a boar, but we will be happy with the silver agouti boar. Mom and babies are doing great. The silver agouti boar and the Silver Soild sow will be staying here at CLC, but the other silver solid boars will be available when they are weaned from mom.

Please Welcome”Jenna’s ”babies to the world. Both pup’s are sow’s. Mom,and babies are doing great. Both babies will be staying here at CLC. Since Valentine’s is not to far away we will be giving the two sow’s Valentine names. Can you guess what they might be? ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Within the next few days, I will be taking pictures of the pigs as they look for a new place to call 🏡. Transport will be available on Colleen's upcoming route in February. A picture of her route is attached.

We will also be celebrating Thanksgiving in a few day’s so we are going to give the babies Thanksgiving names. We took individual pic’s of them with there holiday name. 🦃🎃🍗🍠

Please Welcome “Silver Sky’s” babies to the world. From Left to Right: Boar,Boar,Sow,Sow.This variety in American’s was my dream to have one day,and that dream came true. The cavy friend’s that helped me make this happened was some awesome breeders,and I would like to Thank “Jean Doyon”from Janot’s Cavy’s,and “Brandon Hubnik’s from Hubnik’s Cavy’s. Lastly, I would like to Thank Reed & Jan Tiibbet’s for transporting Jean’s solid silvers to me. I’am beyond happy about this first litter of solid silver pup‘s. Can’t wait to put them on the table next year.
