📣 Friendly Reminder to Pet Owners

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of dogs wandering around loose, and it’s becoming really hard to tell the difference between a lost dog and a dog whose owner just lets them free-roam.

When a dog is out on its own, people assume it’s lost and try to help. That means:
• They get picked up and taken to the shelter
• They could get hit by a car
• They could get injured, attacked, or cause an accident
• Their owner might not even realize someone else has their dog

I’m not trying to call anyone out — I just want pets to be safe. If you own a dog, please keep them leashed or secured in your yard, or make sure they’re wearing tags/microchipped so we can tell they’re not lost.

It makes a huge difference for the community and keeps your dog safe. ❤️🐾
