Diamond Dust Taxidermy and Art L.L.C. Diamond Dust Taxidermy and Art specializes in high quality mammal taxidermy. HOURS ARE BY APPOINTMENT My name is Katie Crowley and I’m an artist and taxidermist.

I live in beautiful Duluth, MN, nestled between Lake Superior and the north woods. I have a BA in Art with an emphasis in sculpture from Minnesota State University Moorhead. During a model making internship with the Smithsonian, I worked on displays in the National Museum of Natural History and other Smithsonian museums. I also craft gut strings for instruments such as violins, but my core passion

s are taxidermy, painting, and sculpture. In addition to creating artwork, I focus on game head and life size mammal mounts and am happy to meet your taxidermy needs in these areas. I completed game head and small mammal mounting courses at The American Institute of Taxidermy and trained on deer heads with the talented Jim Willard. I’m also a member of the Minnesota Taxidermy Guild, Wisconsin Taxidermists Association, and United Taxidermists Association. For me, taxidermy is about preserving the beauty of an animal, and I’m passionate about doing that from the overall impression and personality down to the small details. Each mount is a work of art, from a simple, rustic antler mount to a complex, full body mount with habitat. All of my work is inspired by nature, and I spend time studying north woods flora, fauna, and landscapes to ensure that my depictions of them are accurate. If I’m not working in my shop, you will probably find me somewhere out in the woods peering at plants, looking for wildlife, or just enjoying the scenery.

I decided to let the business website expire since the price to renew kept going up and I need to keep overhead down. Heat and insurance are already expensive enough! So sadly diamonddusttaxidermy.com is no more and I'm sure it will cost me business this year. I wasn't able to update the site myself (web designer had the password and I would have to learn WordPress) and everything on there was outdated from 2019 anyway. I'm going to try some free websites and see if I can find something that isn't too terrible. This also means that the old email address no longer works, so please don't try to email [email protected]. The new email address is [email protected]. Phone/text is still 701-361-2723. I'm trying to update the business address on google but so far they haven't allowed me to update, even after sending a verification video in. Thanks everyone! Hope you're having a successful hunting season, or at least enjoying time outdoors with friends and family. I just got my first Wisconsin deer on Wednesday, it was a fun hunt in the north woods!

Hello everyone, just a yearly update. I'm taking antler mounts and skull cleaning this fall, same as the last few years. Hoping to find some time to learn bird taxidermy and offer more services again eventually. I'm located in Poplar, WI and have been unable to update my business address on google. They required video verification but I work out of a shed in my back yard and apparently my video wasn't good enough! So please don't go to the address shown on google, I haven't lived there for many years. I need to update the website too but my web designer has disappeared and she has the password. Prices on the website are very outdated from around 2019 so please get in touch for updated prices. Thanks and happy hunting!

Hi all, I'm somewhat moved out to Poplar and still in the process of getting my shop moved. I had the workshop building brought out a couple weeks ago and am slowly getting everything set up again. I'm taking skull and antler mounts this fall. Deer skulls are $200 this year. The good news is I can now take your Wisconsin deer heads for skull cleaning! For my Minnesota customers, drop off in Duluth is still ok too.
