Welcome to Small4Paws Guinea Pigs!
Hi, Iโm Jordan, the owner of Small4Paws, an ethical guinea pig breeding and small rescue program located in Poplar Grove, Northwestern Illinois.
Iโm passionate about the breeds I work with and prioritize the health, temperament, socialization, and well-being of every guinea pig in my care. My goal is to raise happy, healthy guinea pigs and match them with responsible, loving homes.

! ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS !
Before inquiring, please research proper guinea pig care, diet, housing, companionship, grooming requirements, and veterinary expenses. Guinea pigs are a long-term commitment, typically living 6โ8 years or longer.
I have housing requirements and an adoption application process to help ensure every guinea pig is placed in an appropriate home. Applications are not automatic approvals. I may ask questions and request photos of your completed enclosure before moving forward.
Please be prepared for the responsibility and expenses of owning guinea pigs before applying.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
โข Deposit requirements depend on the type of placement or reservation.
โข Upcoming-litter reservation lists have their own policies, including a reservation deposit.
โข Deposit information and payment instructions are provided after the appropriate approval process.
โข Deposits and adoption fees are nonrefundable.
Please review the information provided for your specific guinea pig or reservation before sending payment.
RETURNS & LIFETIME COMMITMENT
If you can no longer care for a guinea pig adopted from Small4Paws, you must contact me regarding their return. My animals must never be abandoned, given away, surrendered to a shelter, or rehomed.
I want every guinea pig placed through my program to have a safe future, even if their original placement doesn't work out. For out-of-state placements, return transportation must be arranged by the adopter.
Animal welfare is a priority, and concerns involving neglect, abuse, abandonment, or unauthorized rehoming will be taken seriously.
!UPCOMING LITTERS & RESERVATION LISTS!
I occasionally share planned pairings, pregnancy updates, birth announcements, and future litters. If you're interested in a particular coat type or breed, check my website's reservation-list pages for details on how the process works.
Please remember that breeding plans and expected litters are estimates, and specific breeds, colors, or sexes cannot always be guaranteed.
