Meet Ramsey, the bulldog who's proving that second chances can lead to a whole new lease on life! This sweet boy was rescued from a shelter where he was facing an uncertain future, but thanks to the dedication of our team (like Nurse Ani) and the shelter that saved him, he's now thriving! Ramsey came to us with severe eye issues, including a bad case of cherry eye, but with treatment, including serum from his own blood, his eyes are healing, and he's regaining his sight!

Cherry eye, a common condition in dogs, occurs when a gland in the third eyelid prolapses, causing discomfort and potentially serious complications. We're excited to see Ramsey's journey continue, including his upcoming cherry eye surgery. Consider opening your heart and home to a furry friend in need - fostering and rescuing can make all the difference!

Milo is our brave 3-year-old furry friend! Recently, he visited us with a concerning condition - a urinary blockage. This painful and potentially life-threatening condition occurs when crystals or stones block the flow of urine. Our team worked together to provide Milo with the care he needed. As pet owners, it's essential to recognize the signs of urinary issues, such as straining to urinate, vocalizing, or accidents outside the litter box. If you notice any of these symptoms, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help keep your kitties healthy and happy! And we are thrilled that you are feeling better, sweet Milo!

Meet Augie, our adorable 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel! He recently visited us for a pesky ear infection. As a floppy-eared pup, Augie's prone to ear issues due to moisture getting trapped in his ears. If you have a dog with floppy ears, it's essential to keep an ear out for signs of infection, like scratching, redness, or discharge. Regular ear cleanings are crucial, especially after swimming, bathing, or playing in wet environments. Some common culprits that can lead to ear infections include:

- Swimming in lakes or pools 🤿🏊‍♀️
- Playing in muddy puddles ☔️
- Getting baths without proper drying of the ears 🛁🚿
- Failing to clean ears regularly 💈

We are so happy that Augie is on the mend and feeling well enough to enjoy a pup cup for being such a brave boy! Stay well, Augie!🥰

Meet Jax, a very handsome 6-year-old tabby cat! Did you know that cats have a unique way of communicating with their veterinarians? Cats can't tell us where it hurts, but they show us through body language! Paying attention to changes in your cat's behavior, appetite, or litter box habits can help us catch potential health issues early. We're lucky to have Jax as a patient and love helping him stay healthy and happy!

Meet Marina, a stoic but adorable 7-year-old black labradoodle who recently visited us for her canine influenza vaccination.

But what is canine flu, and why is it important to know about? Canine influenza is a contagious respiratory disease that can spread quickly in dog parks, kennels, and social areas. Vaccination is key to protecting your furry friend from this illness. Our team is here to help keep your pets healthy and happy!

Plus, not only do we get to help keep Marina (and other pups!) safe, but we also get to see her more often! Thanks for being part of our fur family, Marina!
