This week in Storybook Stables, our students explored the building blocks of a great book from the title, author and illustrator to the beginning, middle, end and important text features.

Then, with inspiration all around them, they became authors and illustrators themselves, creating original storybooks shaped by the sights, sounds and experiences of the farm. 📖🌿

Fridays are better on the farm! 🌿🐴☀️

Open Farm Fridays at Hydaway are made for curious kids who love to explore, get their hands a little dirty, spend time with animals, and learn through play.

Designed for ages 2–12, our Fridays welcome preschoolers, homeschoolers, and enrichment students for a fun-filled morning of hands-on learning and outdoor adventure. With a rotating schedule of activities, no two Fridays are quite the same!

Parents of students ages 2-4 will stay with their child and elementary children are dropped off.

$85 per student.

Come for one Friday or make it part of your weekly rhythm. Advance registration is required, so be sure to sign up online before you head to the farm!
