My furry niece Sable has some 4th of July advice! More dogs run away during 4th of July than any other time of the year! Most dogs do not like fireworks! To keep them safe this weekend we recommend when it’s time to go out to potty make sure they are on a leash or in a very secure fenced yard. I try to go when it’s still light out before the majority of booms start, and then late after the booms have stopped. I have my tv or radios playing loud to help cover the sound of the booms, if you have a basement it may be best to keep fluffy down there to help with the noise. Medication can help with fluffys anxiety, a vet can help with that! I hope everyone has a safe 4th!
