Monday’s DOTD is Jade, Beans, Buster, Brooklyn, River, Teddy, Maddy B and like 20+ other amazing doggo’s… so scroll through and work that one out yourself. I just post them, Jill takes them, you’re responsible for viewing them. Hopefully you enjoy all the adorable pups basking in their glory here at Happy Hounds. Now that it’s basically about to be summer they can’t get enough of the pools/water play so be prepared for lots more water shots through the summer. Continuing with Saturday’s matinee we’re going Movie Monday!!! Although the pools are out today because it’s hotter than a spoon in Whitney Houston’s kitchen… our photographer is off on Mondays and pictures aren’t my area of excellence, sorry? So please, take a break from the heat and enjoy all the dogs in their glory while you’re at work or doing whatever it is at 1pm on a Monday. As always, thank you for allowing and trusting us to love and care for each and every one of them, it makes all the days that much better!!! Let’s close the week out with our DOTD Rebel!!! The 8 year old and some odd month Yorkie-Poo. Rebel is definitely hardy dude, he lives with his sibling by home Blaze and the name fits… do with that whah you will. Rebel definitely still has the energy, he does play and hop around but I can’t lie… he’s mostly a Saturday dog. Beyond my rare occasional cameo (tomorrow is one 🥴) I can’t tell you a lot. He’s a good dude, he’s a sweet dude and he’s still pretty high energy for an 8 year old. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine. If I learn something new tomorrow I’ll edit, if not you get what you get and you don’t get upset. I mean how could you? In the least you learned by visuals he’s a cutie pie. Now, shed some love upon him and we’ll see you all on Monday. Hope you all have a good weekend 🐾🐾🐾

We will be CLOSED Saturday May 23rd-Monday May 25th in observance of Memorial Day and MDW. We will be back open on Tuesday May 26th for normal business hours. Well as normal as we get at least 😂 I’ll try to remind everyone again but please try to remember yourselves if you can. We will post something on the pole up front here as well in the coming week. Thursday’s DOTD is also our Birthday girl Winnie!!! She doubles as the Cowardly Lion on her down time… which is not much considering she’s in a house of 3 x four legs and a newer born. Sometimes lost in the crowd since not as vocal as her brother Winston or as deer like as her sister Willow. Winnie makes up for all that with her cuddly demeanor, her fluffiness and her love. She definitely leans heavy on the wallflower side of life. Never mind the timidness, she’s cool if you force the hugs, she does love them. Winnie is rather sweet, pretty stubborn and absolutely loving. Shes a huge mush and are sure you’ll love her as much as we all do. Now’s your time to shine and shine and wish Winnie a Happy 6th Birthday, smother her in love and come check us out again tomorrow!!! Until then, enjoy your the rest of your day everyone 🐾🐾🐾

Wednesday’s DOTD is Auggie!!! Definitely not new here and the voice is undeniable. The neighbors 5 traffic lights down even know when he’s here!!! Auggie is a very VERY excitable doggie. Doesn’t take much, not much at all. Auggie does absolutely enjoy to jump around and play too, he’s not just vocals. When he’s here a nice decompression is required later on in the evening as his voice still echoes in your head long after you’re home. It’s wild. Auggie in all seriousness is a good boy, he likes to play, he is rather sweet, he’s likes to have fun and his voice is just how he knows how to express himself. We and the dogs all love Auggie for who he is and hope you all extend that same love his way!!! Enjoy the rest of your hump day and we’ll see you again tomorrow 🐾🐾🐾

Tuesday’s DOTD is coming up on a big birthday 5/14 is the day but he’ll be home celebrating Thursday…goes by Dusty. Don’t you ever get caught calling him crusty and he’s far from the name given!!! Dusty at 13 can still find reasons less spoken about (come on be quick thinking here)😂😂😂 to show he’s still got it in him. The s***k, funk and energy. Beyond that Dusty is down for some sick nap times, being amongst the pack of friends he’s acquired through his years here and some newer ones too. Dusty is very friendly, really sweet and pretty funny too. Help us and his humans wish him the absolute best 13th birthday ever!!! Whoever said it’s not a lucky number clearly hasn’t had it pay dividends on the roulette wheel. Play it and 0-00 too. You’re welcome. We hope you all enjoy the rest of your day just not as much as Dusty does his…but still a whole lot. We will see you again tomorrow 🐾🐾🐾

Yeah it’s Movie Monday again. Instead of the regular rhetoric you all should know the deal by now. So hopefully you’re all caught up and can just kick back as you enjoy the dogs you may not be familiar with here at Happy Hounds. If your boss asks why the lack of productivity for the 1-2 minutes it’ll take you to reset as you take in the scenes then get you a new boss. They’re not the one. We’ll be back again tomorrow to throw something up here for you to enjoy. For now, enjoy this and the rest of your day. See you tomorrow 🐾🐾🐾

Friday’s DOTD is Jaci!!! Jaci isn’t new here but maybe some of you are so one more time this is Jaci. Jaci like 90% of the smaller dogs here comes in hot and fearless. Her wheels don’t stop moving and her energetic nature doesn’t diminish. Jaci will jump around, run around and play regardless of the friend or opponents size. Once she gets the zoomies the race is off, the chase is on so strap up. Like most small dogs she’ll beg, scratch and claw to be held. It’s hard to resist but at times we as the humans show great restraint 😂 do you believe me? Jaci is super friendly, really sweet and rather playful. Send her off into the weekend with her love tank full and we’ll see you all on Monday. Happy early Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, I hope your weekend is extra special 🐾🐾🐾
