Wednesday’s DOTD is in need of a re-home and goes by Hero!!! Hero is a 6 year old Great Pyrenees mix who happens to be great with children (has younger ones in his home) and also incredible with other dogs. You can ask any of our pups here or crew members (Hero has been coming for quite some time now, so they/we know) if you don’t speak doganese we can def vouch for this good boy. Hero really is as easy going as they get, truly just a chill boy. He rarely makes a sound, in fact may be a mute in disguise. He’s cuddly, friendly, affectionate, tolerant of pretty much whatever 😂 and comes pre trained. His family is extremely upset but is hoping they can at least find peace knowing he’ll go to a good, loving and accepting home. He really is a great companion. If you have any questions please reach out and we can get you in contact with his current owners. As I know they’d like to know who will be inheriting this incredible pupper. So please, shoe Hero a Hero’s amount of love and we’ll check back in with you guys tomorrow. I hope you all have a great hump day 🐾🐾🐾

Tuesday’s DOTD is newer pack addition and somewhat newer worldly edition Honey!!! Not quite a year yet I believe but already an absolute delight. She’s not only precious but as cute as a button too. Honey is super friendly and although somewhat shy doesn’t display nervousness around the other dogs. She blends right in, fits right in and is usually amongst the pack of others. We’re sure the longer she sticks around the more of her playful side we’ll see. She’s getting there for sure with some of our smaller dogs. We’ll have to ease her to the mediums and then on to the bohemians. For now baby steps. She’s super trusting of humans and flourishes on their love, that we’ve learned so far!!! We hope you show her the proper amount of love and we’ll see you guys tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day 🐾🐾🐾

Movie Monday is back in full effect. So you know what to do, no need for rhetorics today. Hopefully this gets you through your soon to be wet and soggy Monday. Don’t worry tomorrow they forecast the same 😂 The dogs don’t mind at least, the gardens and some humans may however. I’m telling you, we’ve got much to learn from them. Alright for now, hope you get your little dopamine boost from all the cute pups and that you enjoy the rest of your day as well. We’ll see you again tomorrow 🐾🐾🐾

Friday’s DOTD is Charlie girl!!! Charlie isn’t new here and neither is her loving demeanor. Wanna take about sweet? You’ve got the one here. Charlie is a very loving pup, not only that but can be really playful and goofy too. Charlie loves her best buddy here Sadie (Big Red) who is actually here today too 🥹 They used to be here a lot on the same days but now they seem to miss each other, so today is a great day for Charlie. She isn’t short of friends, attention or love here or home with her parents. Please send this ray of sunshine into the weekend overflowing with love. I hope you enjoy yours and we’ll see you on Monday 🐾🐾🐾

Thursday’s DOTD is not. Don’t worry, instead group photos with a friendship theme is what you get. Also you get Brooklyn and Jade (just kidding, they for real love each other and no sarcasm behind this at all pics don’t lie). Hopefully you all enjoy looking through and seeing your dog hanging out, playing or loving on one of their many friends here. If not then enjoy seeing someone else’s dog with one of their many friends. I also like this because it shows, even the little dogs are friends and fond of the “big” dogs. I know some of you come in and gasp when told we don’t separate by size. Why would we have to when they do what humans can’t? Coexist and respect one another’s boundaries for the most part 😂 We can all learn a little something from them if you ask me, now please enjoy and do the same with the rest of your day. One more time we can do this tomorrow, hopefully see you then 🐾🐾🐾

Wednesday’s DOTD is Ally girl!!! Ally is without a doubt one of the funniest dogs I’ve met. Ally has a personality like no other, if I didn’t know her I’d think she was a part time Dexter but the dark one not the somewhat good guy he was 😂 She has this way with “words” or snarls, growls, grunts whatever you want to call them but that’s all they are. She is extremely sweet and very very very well behaved. I’ve heard she’s a little yard hunter at home so fortunately the wildlife stay out of the yard here at Happy Hounds 😂 Ally loves to run around our yard though, play with her handful of friends (she really loves Dozer, Lovie and Birdie), get lots of love and to enjoy her own vibe. She is definitely a special girl and we hope you’ll extend some love her way. We’ll see you again tomorrow, for now enjoy the rest of your day 🐾🐾🐾

Tuesday’s DOTD is this Bohemian who is known as Vegas. Vegas is a sweet one but takes no nonsense type of girl. She’s absolutely built to protect and defend, absolute powerhouse of a dog. Not only that but she’s pretty as hell, sweet as can be with occasional moments 😂 but again she’s dog and a really good one at that. Vegas is absolutely well known around here and highly regarded. Everyone is always happy to see her strolling in, luckily she doesn’t walk you 90% of the time. Vegas is seriously an amazing doggo who just wants to have fun and chill in between. She’ll definitely take the love too and rub downs, so don’t be shy, give her what she wants. Hopefully you all enjoy Vegas as much as we do and send her some love. We’ll check back in tomorrow, for now hope you all enjoy the rest of your day 🐾🐾🐾

You’re all invited to Monday’s Matinee!!! Pull up a seat, put up your feet and enjoy your favorite treat. You’re about to get 2-3 minutes worth of what you wish you could be doing right now. Hey, at least we give you glimpses of the absolute bliss your pupper(s) get to take in while you make the money. As always you’ll see some friendships, some play, a nap here and there, some pool time/water play as long as the sun is shining and a whole lot of cute dogs you wish you could pet. Hopefully you enjoy what you see and if not visit your optometrist immediately, or talk it out with your people. Either or will correct whatever the issue is. Hopefully you all enjoy the rest of your day and we’ll try this again tomorrow 🐾🐾🐾
