We certainly are, and our beloved annual fall plant sale just launched. 100% of the proceeds are dedicated to the veterinary expenses for our animals. We know there are many places to purchase your fall flowers, and really appreciate supporting the HVHS in this way, thank YOU.

Hello friends, today is the last chance to participate in our 50-50 raffle. Ticket sales will close at midnight tonight. Currently the 50-50 stands at $1,395 to be split. Do you recognize this dog? This intact male was found last night on Prospect Avenue in South Nyack, New York (Rockland County) at approximately 7:45 PM. He was brought to the safety of the Hudson Valley Humane Society. No microchip, no ID. He is unharmed and very sweet. Please text if you know where he belongs 917-701-3870 and/or 917-703-0072. Images of last night storm in the New York Metropolitan area are all over the media and they are devastating. The HVHS headquarters was impacted by the storm as well. Our animals are all safe, and our buildings are sound, but our property is a mess. The glass sunroom which is attached to our cattery building just barely missed having 2 trees destroy it. We were lucky, but we could use help from the community to offset the cost of the cleanup. Please consider participating in this 50-50. We ask because we do not receive funding from tax dollars, we rely on fundraising and voluntary donations.
