Today, we took the time to celebrate someone VERY important to our Brown Creek Family. 🩵🐾

Terri has been the glue that has held us together for 24.5 years! We are so incredibly honored to have had someone so dedicated, selfless, and hardworking helping run every aspect of this place. 💪🏽

Whether she was running around making sure we had everything we needed or working behind the scenes to make sure our clients were taken care of, Terri always went above and beyond. She truly is a superhero without a cape! 🦸‍♀️🐾

After many years of giving so much to Brown Creek, it’s finally time for her to slow down, relax, and enjoy some well-deserved time for herself (and her garden😉).

We are going to miss her SO much! 🥹

Everyone, help us wish Terri a very happy, relaxing, and WELL-DESERVED retirement! 🎉🐾

Thank you for 24.5 incredible years, Terri. Brown Creek simply would not be the same without you!❤️❤️

Meet Sir Sketch-a distinguished gentleman and survivor! 🎩💪🏽

Our handsome mustached man, Sir Sketch, is officially headed home after his hospital stay for elevated kidney values following suspected toxic plant ingestion😳🌱

Sir Sketch’s bloodwork played an important role in revealing that something was not right. His kidney values being elevated gave our team a crucial clue that helped us identify and treat a potentially serious toxin exposure🧐

A VERY important reminder for cat parents❗️
-Toxic plants can cause serious illness in our feline friends. True lilies and daylilies are especially dangerous, as even small exposures can lead to severe kidney injury.

Cats can be exposed by:
-Chewing on a plant
-Drinking water from a vase containing lilies
-Eating even a small piece of a toxic plant

‼️If you suspect your cat has ingested a toxic plant, do not wait for symptoms to appear. Contact us right away! Early treatment can make a huge difference‼️

We are so happy to see this distinguished gentleman heading home to his wonderful family💕

Not every wardrobe malfunction happens outside the body! 👀

This sweet pup came to us after swallowing a T-shirt. While that may sound odd, dogs—especially curious puppies and enthusiastic chewers—can swallow all kinds of objects.👕

The good news? Our new endoscope allowed us to safely remove the T-shirt without surgery! We are so excited to announce this new tool at our facility 🐾

An endoscope is a small, flexible camera that lets us look inside the stomach and upper digestive tract. In many cases, if a foreign object is still in the stomach, we can use special instruments through the scope to retrieve it. This means:
-No large incision
-Less pain and discomfort
-Faster recovery
-Quicker return home

Not every swallowed object can be removed this way, but when it can, endoscopy is an excellent minimally invasive option.

If you think your pet has swallowed something they should not have, contact us! The sooner we are able to evaluate them, the more treatment options may be available!

We’re excited to offer this advanced technology to help keep your pets safe and healthy! 💙🐾

One of our amazing clients surprised the Brown Creek crew with lunch today, and we are feeling so spoiled lately! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful clients who go out of their way to remind us how appreciated we are. Your kindness truly means the world to our team—and keeping our bellies full is definitely a bonus! 🤣

Thank you for always taking such great care of us while we care for your pets! 🐾

‼️ VERY HANDSOME BOY ALERT‼️

We had the joy of seeing Murphy on Friday! He came in for a routine check up and refill of his allergy medication for itchy ears. He was the absolute best patient! Quite literally perfect, actually🐶💙

“Allergy medication? But his skin looks so normal!” 🤔
It is one of the most common things we hear and it is a common misconception!

While some dogs with allergies do have red and irritated skin, not all do. Many patients can have beautiful coats but still show signs like:
-Licking or chewing their paws
-Frequent head shaking or itchy ears
-Scratching, rubbing, or scooting
-Recurring ear infections.

📞 If you have noticed these signs, give us a call to schedule a visit. We would be happy to help your furry friend find some relief! 🐾

ATTENTION CLIENTS!!

WE ARE OPEN! ALL SURGERIES, APPOINTMENTS, AND WALK INS ARE STILL HAPPENING AS SCHEDULED.

WE DO HAVE WATER!👍🏼
