🐐🌿 LET THE GOATS WORK, AND LET NATURE DO ITS THING! 🌿🐐
There’s more to goat grazing than just watching a few goats enjoy a hillside. It’s a natural, hardworking way to help manage overgrown vegetation while keeping the land productive!
At Out Yonder Ranch, we believe in working WITH nature, not against it.
🐐 The benefits of goat grazing:
* Helps control unwanted weeds and brush.
* Naturally reduces overgrown vegetation.
* Provides an alternative to chemical herbicides.
* Helps manage hard-to-reach hillsides and uneven terrain.
* Turns unwanted vegetation into a food source.
* Returns nutrients to the soil through natural manure.
* Can help reduce excess vegetation when managed properly.
And while the goats are busy doing what goats do best, somebody else has a very important job!
🐕 Meet Willow, our Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD). She’s up on that hill keeping a watchful eye over her herd. She doesn’t have to be right beside them every second because she’s always watching, always aware, and never too far away.
This is what livestock guardian dogs are bred to do. They’re not just farm dogs; they’re protectors, companions to the herd, and an important part of responsible livestock management.
Around here, everybody has a job:
🐐 Goats eat.
🐕 Willow watches.
🌱 The land benefits.
❤️ And we keep doing things the natural way!
