Here is my favorite DIY goat hay feeder! 🐐🌾

You can easily find these plastic barrels for around $30, and they make the absolute best feeders. The design keeps the goats from jumping on top of the hay, which drastically cuts down on waste since they can only stick their mouths inside to eat.

You can customize it completely by cutting the head slots as high or low as you need for your herd. Best of all, the top lifts open easily for quick refills, but keeps the hay completely dry and protected from the rain. It is all-around the best hay feeder I have ever used!

💪 How to get a 800 pound round bale off of your truck and into your round bale feeder without a tractor.

Growing up with a tractor I was not use to doing it by hand, but it is alot easier than you think! You don't need a tractor to left your round bale over and drop it into the feeder, your feeder is actually alot lighter than you think, you simply lift it up and roll your bale off the truck and into the feeder!
