I have not posted much on here lately been busy doing crafts and catching critters. I have two skunks,11 musk rats so far. Pull my traps to day. And I have caught 5 beaver. I have set 5 foot holds around the house for fox and yote. I’m hoping to get the black one I had on camera

I receved a call when I was out of state, to do a job. Someone else tried to take care of it for the customer. I was called back to see If I was back home. I set traps and was able to get the job done.

Last month and this month have been the busiest I have had all summer. Got two calls for woodchuck problems. Caught a total of 5 wood chucks and 2 possums. One of the jobs I caught 3 woodchucks at same house in one night. Got a call last week for a skunk 🦨 set at trap on Friday had the skunk on Saturday. I did have to refuse a few jobs as they were just to far to go for the money

So this crazy bird is still out there following me around. I went out to fix a tree stand and it flew up on the ladder and kept following me up. Wish I could have got it on film

Received a job to remove some woodchuck in Lewiston. On Monday. I set 3 traps on Tues caught one. I rest a trap there and set 3 more traps yesterday. For a total of 5. Today I had 3 wood chucks. All from the same home. They have caused some really bad damage. They dug under the driveway along the house which created a sink hole. Many holes under there garage. Hope they don’t have issues later under ther slab. This my friends is why it’s so important to removed these critters away from your home.

This has been a slow season for me. The few times I have been called I have been away and unable to help. Or the job would be so far away it would be very expensive for the customer. So I gave them names of others closer to them. Some times that pays off as I get calls from there friends that live closer to me. I’m good with all this as it has been a very busy year with other things. Also I hate trapping critters in the heat we have had.

Caught a big male otter last Friday. In one of my beaver sets. It weighed 15lbs. I’m going to home tan this one.

It was a beautiful snow fall but a pain in the buttocks checking traps today. I cut one good size fisher track and a couple of weasel tracks hopefully I’ll catch one of them tomorrow I set three new Weasel boxes.
