Snack Brothers

Snack Brothers July through November: The Snack Brothers will come to your property to eat your invasive species (ex. poison ivy) Snicker and Doodle are large and have horns.

**Year-round Service**: Our three goats, The Snack Brothers, can come to your educational event. NutterButter is a Pygmy and has no horns. They are all kind, happy and friendly. We suggest the event be outdoors ;-) . You can also schedule a visit to come pet the animals where they live

Two things: Our great new friend Laurie brought us SOOOOOOOOOOO many Christmas treeeees!!! It's our favorite part of the cold time of year!

But then the second thing: Linda had a smaller kind of tree thing (she called it "wreath") and stuck it in our hay-rack. What was she THINKING?? I mean, yes, we love the tree-stuff. But no mixing the two. I went over to the hay-rack, took my horns and flipped that thing out of there. It took a moment, then I felt better. But sheesh.

That was some of our day. Mommie says she'll have pictures of the trees tomorrow.

When we were back from our walk our new friend Laurie helped with cleaning our bedroom. She and Mommie kept insisting that we couldn't help stand in there while it's shoveled out. Phooey.

We made a new friend this week. Her name is Laurie, and she helped feed us while Mommie wasn't feeling well and Caleb & Elisha were gone.

And today she took a walk with us!

We heard a noise. I told Doodle that it's probably breakfast time. It's still dark, but if I kick around the buckets, Mommie might think about filling them with snacks....

(Mommie here)

I had them clear the blackberries and messy brush from in front of the front entry. Whenever they stooped down to eat the boxwood, or the blue flags marking them, I said 'no', then rewarded them with peanuts for listening. It was great practice for going working/ out to eat other places.

We LOVE fooling around on the deck!

We escaped! It was great!

Mommie was late for our walk AND it was only a short walk. And when I was standing at a tree, eating the leaves, a bunny moved in the grass and scared me. I jumped and flung myself around. Mommie says I'm too anx-us (I haven't learned that word). I don't think it's one of those hug, good job! words. But if I did something wrong, well, I want her to know that it's hard work being a herd-leader. And it's hard too because I don't know or understand all the animals. Something I feel like I know for sure is that the animal that makes the noise that Mommie says, "That's a coyote." is not safe at all.

I'm glad Mommie didn't have her camera for that. I don't want my friends to think I'm a wimp.

(Doodle still has hay on his head from our hay party, and he's glad he didn't get his picture taken either)
