One of our final adoptions is taking place today. ❤️Bob is going to his forever home where he already has the nickname “king Bob” because he will be treated like the king he is! 👑

Don’t let the look fool you this 2 hour car ride to his new home is making him very tired.

We are so excited for Bob to arrive at his forever home today! 🏡

IMPORTANT :

We will be taking a step back from the rescue world for a while to focus on our personal lives, but we currently have several fosters that we STILL need to find homes for immediately!

Unfortunately we have had them for far too long and we are in desperate need of finding them there forever homes.

Please reach out if you are interested and we will provide background on each and every cat!

We have young adult cats and some 3 yr old cats that need homes. These are the cats everyone has picked over as they have special needs, shy timid or do not get along with other cats.

Introducing Brantley.

Brantley was saved by us after being hit by a car. His face was bloody and he was about to be hit again by a semi if it wasn’t for us getting him off the road and flagging down the semi to stop.

Brantley clearly has never had any interaction with people or been inside of a home. Brantley is still adjusting to being with us at PPKR.

We have been letting Brantley roam and explore. We usually don’t see him, but lately he’s been coming to do the smell test on us.

Last night was a huge accomplishment for him and he laid on the bed with us for 5 mins before getting distracted by a toy and ran away.

Brantley still has a lot of work to do before he will be able to be adopted, he won’t stick around us long enough to pet him yet. But we are hopeful he will continue to grow as an indoor cat and warm up to us.

With only two more days left in the year, we thought we would take the time to reflect on our progress from 2024.

In 2024, we have saved the lives of 30 cats/kittens! That’s 30 cats/kittens that now have FOREVER homes because of you guys! 🏡❤️ and we can’t thank you enough for that! That’s 30 Cats/Kittens that are no longer roaming the streets begging for food, and having to worry about getting attacked by any other animals.

Since 2020, that’s 148 cats and kittens we have rescued and adopted! 🐈🐈‍⬛

For anyone that doesn’t know, we both work full time jobs and just rescue on the side, so 30 in one year is a lot for just the two of us to manage.

In 2024, we introduced fostering, and foster-to-adopt as an option to help more cats and kittens get adopted. We also attended new community events such as Trunk or Treats, Mud Bogs, and numerous events at our local Tractor Supply.

Also in 2024, we introduced tee shirts for sale-proceeds go to vet bills. We are always accepting donations-message us for info on how to donate.

We have attempted to slow down on the rescue to focus on some personal things(what’s “free time” as adults 😂) so we are not sure what 2025 will look like just yet.

With that being said we still have 5 cats that need forever homes(not pictured, message us for more info). The pictured cats and kittens are a few of the ones adopted in 2024.
