For animals at least, re**al temperatures have always been called the gold standard and most accurate. I am seeing ads on my feed for the human tempural thermometer. Not sure how accurate they would be on animals through fur or if they have been even clinically tested for that. The Pavia Re**al Temp has been used in the United Stated in thousands of veterinary offices for 19 years now with great success.

Beware friends! Another fake knock off from the Chinese! The Chinese sell a cheap look alike of my Pavia Re**al Temp thermometer too! Instead of taking 6 seconds to take a temp the Chinese model takes around 30 seconds! You get what you pay for folks!

I just saw a news broadcast interview on my local television station interviewing 2 local veterinarians. I, as a 30 year industry (not a vet) career sales person know what the veterinarians go through. The story said they have the 3rd highest su***de rates in the country. They are some of the most compassionate people and love animals. Most of them after 4 years of veterinary school come out with 100,000's in school debt. Then when they get a job at a clinic they don't get paid like an md but most people think they do. They make a lot less than people think starting out. The women veterinarians on the newscast tonight said people actually threaten them if their animals don't get better and don't accept their advice because they say they are paid by the pet food companies - big pharma - etc. Which by the way is not true. It is an emotional roller coaster for them having to put a pet down and then having to be cheery at the next apt for a new pet exam. That would be hard for anybody to deal with! And then they get reviews saying they weren't cheery enough!
It breaks my heart that some people disrespect these doctors that only have your pets best interest at heart. Be kind to your vet and let them know you appreciate all they do.

Beware of Pavia Re**al Temp look - alikes! The Pavia is the fastest at 6 seconds. The "quick reads" or "fast reads" take 30 seconds to 1 minute which aren't quick or fast! Mine has 14 years of quality control and customer service. The look alike on Amazon is shipped to Amazon by a Chinese company and has the confusing animal icons on that my orginal model had. They are quite a bit less expensive then the Pavia Re**al Temp but with mine you are paying for the speed - fastest in North America! As well as quality control, accuracy, 90 day warranty, and customer service. If it doesn't say Pavia Re**al Temp on the front it is NOT a Pavia Re**al Temp! I heard of a new use for Pavia Power Pads - chickens pecking at other chickens rear ends! Her vet had prescribed Pavia Power Pads as the vet thought the oregeno smell would discourage futher pecking and the propolis would promote healing. It is working! Feathers are coming back! Nice to hear success stories. Pass on to poultry industry people please!
