Happy holidays to all!

Oakwood Pet Clinic will have some modified hours through the holiday season. We will be closed on December 24 at noon through Monday December 29 at 8:30 AM. We will close at noon on December 31 and reopen for regular hours on January 2.

Everyone here at Oakwood Pet Clinic would like to wish you a safe and happy holiday season.

In observance, we will be closed Friday, December 23 through Monday, December 26. We will reopen on Tuesday, December 27.

Dr. Williamson will be out of the office Thursday, December 29 and Friday, December 30 but the clinic will be open for technician appointments, retail, prescription and food sales.

And don’t worry…George was sleeping and dreaming of tuna, so we used his friend Arthur’s picture.

MEROWW,
George here. My roommates are looking for a more purrmanent housing solution. They like it here, but it’s a little crowded and they’re putting a dent in my catnip. They’re also stealing the attention that is rightfully mine.
Marcy and Evie are sisters looking to find a new home together. A seniors like me can’t keep up with these nine year old ladies. They love to explore once they’re familiar with their surroundings. They’re also very chatty, and gossip isn’t good for the clinic.
These ladies are very affectionate, but I purrfer the bachelor lifestyle. They have a very purrticular taste for select proteins and require a purrscription diet.
They have limited exposure to dogs and other cats but so far, they seem to tolerate the guests they have met and the fast pace of my kingdom. If you have questions, have your people call my people or check them out at: https://www.blueskyrescue.org/adoptable-animals

Button has an announcement...

Starting Monday, February 28, we will have doctor's appointments available to be in person if you choose to do so. The doors will continue to be locked as we would like to keep our small waiting area from being overwhelmed with people at this time. We also ask that you wear a mask while you are in the building, regardless of vaccination status.

If you have a technician appointment or are picking up items like medication or food, we will continue to come to your car. If you have a doctor's appointment, please call when you get here and we will take a history over the phone, then come get you and your pet for the appointment.

We will continue to offer curbside service for doctor's appointments. If you would like us to come get your pet after taking a phone history, freeing up some of your time to do errands or grab a coffee, then return to pick them up after the doctor has done their exam, we are happy to accommodate.

We also would like to thank everyone for having patience as we have worked over the last two years to flow with the most current data to help protect our clients, our staff and our patients.

In response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases we will be returning to our curb-side only policy on Monday, January 10th. By limiting exposure in this way we hope to mitigate the spread of the virus to keep you, your family, and our staff healthy. Thank you for helping us in our effort to prevent human illness during this pandemic so we may continue to provide quality care and preventative medicine for your pets. Stay safe and stay warm!

Side note: Dr. Williamson's cat, Button, is not becoming an astronaut. He's modeling a new cat muzzle we got in and loving the extra attention 💞

Our computer system crashed this weekend, so on this Monday-est of Mondays we have been spending a lot of time trying to get our information back. Our records will be unavailable until that time. We are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while addressing this problem.

It’s a wedding! To celebrate one of our employees tying the knot, George dressed up and gave us all the day off 👰🏻!

In celebration, Oakwood Pet Clinic will be closed Friday, July 23 and will reopen Monday, July 26 at normal business hours.
