This is funny, not funny. I've seen an increase in dogs who not only listen to the TV for their favorite words, but that watch it and respond accordingly. Dogs barking on TV? They run to the TV and bark too. Cats, squirrels, deer, and horses moving across the screen? Time to run and chase. I even know a dog who can identify "bad guys" in certain TV programs/movies, and she growls! Does your dog react to the television?
